Centrals hard out writing.

Squishy hot seats, yelling parents. It's was a hot summer's day. My togs dripped on the seat, I shivered with joy. I thought to myself  “I didn't know there was going to be this many people at centrals.” We started warming up. I did flapping arm warmups and stretches. We were led into a room where we all just chatted. I asked one of the girls how old she was. She said that she was 13! I felt worried - I'm only 9. Finally we are led out to the pool. I hopped onto the block. “On your marks, Get set, GO!” I dived into the water. I kicked, I pushed, I reached, I pulled, I puffed, everything. And no sadly I did not win. I jumped out of the pool.  I felt cold, wet and puffed because I had  just finished racing in the 50m butterfly race. Even when I don't get a placing I still love swimming and trying to reach my goals.
